Sughrue has opted to discontinue that service on their site, so any direct requests made to the old address for that version of the Patent Fetcher site are now being redirected here.

Note that there is a limit of 10 (ten) free patent PDF downloads on this site daily (metered on a per IP address basis), with the first five downloaded regularly, and the last five stamped with promotional information for our site (and downloaded more slowly). If your firm or business requires higher volumes of patent PDF downloads, please contact us for subscription information.

Foreign Patents/Applications We currently provide access* to all foreign patents and applications for which there are images at the European Patent Office Web site, as a single PDF file. Specifically, publications with the following country code prefixes may be available:

*Note: While you can have this version of the Patent Fetcher site fetch Foreign Patents/Applications and assemble them as a single document on our file server, you may only download these documents from our server via our Pay-As-You-Go Patent Fetcher service at $0.65 per downloaded publication, a fee which covers our bandwidth and local storage costs.

Please note that the format of Foreign Publication numbers must be exactly the same as that used by the EPO's Web site search interface , which generally means just the base publication number and no "kind codes". The exception is that kind codes can be specified for some EP patents. If the requested EP publication is not already locally cached on our file server, a search will be performed at the EPO Web site using the base publication number (without the kind code, since the EPO site tends not to use them), and if the search produces more than one result, the specified kind code will be used to determine which of those results to use.
(You can search for U.S. Patents and Applications meeting your criteria on the U.S. PTO Site, and then enter the resulting Patent/SIR/etc. numbers from your search in the field above, one by one. Similarly, you can search for Foreign Patents and Applications meeting your criteria at the European Patent Office site and then enter the resulting numbers here, one by one.)
